USPSA Classifiers in Piru, Jun 13. 6th overall, 3rd Limited Optics

Watching my classification record rise and fall like the stock market with a drunken president at the helm hasn’t helped with my motivation to keep at it, but I saw this as an opportunity to stabilize things a bit. Time on the range training had slowed me down just a touch and my cadence was becoming more regular. All-classifier events are great ways for newer shooters to dip toes into USPSA due to short stages, for people to receive their initial classification in one go instead of accumulating enough stages over time, and I like them because it allows me to track some level of consistency throughout the day. I felt like I shot slower in each stage than normal, but more deliberately and the stage-stages scores reflected that level of overall consistency. I may not have finally moved up into “M” class, but I saw the light.
