Modern Field Rifleman (HIKE ONLY), November 8th in Los Olivos

$400.00

As seen in Recoil Offgrid magazine!

This is offered as a single day, hike only Field Rifleman class.

This event will not include any specific lectures about ballistics, zero/velocity confirmation, or ballistic data entry and as a result each shooter is expected to show up fully prepared. There will be limited abilities to confirm velocity or correct ballistic calculators.

Come prepared for a 3 mile long hike through the Los Olivos hills with multiple shooting positions throughout, target distances range anywhere from 200 to over 1600 yards and everything in-between! With improvised shooting positions, utilize the terrain and your tools to their best capability. Open to all kinds of rifles from 5.56 ARs with LVPOs to custom bolt actions, there’s targets out there for everyone (no large magnums are allowed at this time, contact me with questions). Round count should be 150 on the high end.

We will meet at 7:30am, brief, and hit the trail. Several shooting positions along the trail will be offered as timed stages as part of a side competition with a prize for the winner at the end.

An onboarding email with specific locations, times, and information will be sent out to all registered participants as we get closer to the date.

Registration costs are non-refundable unless in the event of inclement weather beyond what’s acceptable to ensure safety.
