Offered at Winchester Canyon Gun Club is the class I wish was available to me years ago! I’ve set out to introduce the perfect blend of lecture and shooting to nudge everyone into the world of competitive pistol shooting. You’ll learn the structure of USPSA and it’s affiliated events as well as administrative and performance tips to set you up for success. Topics include:
Basic overview of rules, divisions, and organization structure
Commands, procedures, and safety
Scoring and score recording
Effective stage walk-through techniques
Shoot multiple classifier stages
The environment will be one of low-pressure and maximum learning while striving to keep each student “on the gun” as much as possible because at the end of the day, nothing beats trigger time. Round count is 300, must have ability to carry up to 30 rounds (including in the firearm) on your person.
At this time no Sig P320s or variants thereof are allowed
No Serpa or Serpa-style holsters are allowed
